Le Vert

This is a fairly new restaurant on the main strip. It's sort of French, but it's also has some Italian and other foods.

So far, I have been pretty impressed. The breakfast selection is pretty good. They have the standard bacon and eggs as well as omelets and other egg/meat/bread combos. They also have a pretty tasty crepe breakfast with mushrooms and bananas and all sorts of well prepared produce.

Their lunches/dinners are also pretty good. They have a few pasta offerings, some burgers and some salads. Their best menu items, though are their sandwiches. They have a small selection, but they do them quite well. They use quality bread, great cheezes, and the sandwiches are all excellently balanced. You will find no cheese, tuna, ketchup, corn and jelly sandwiches here.

The service is good, and the space is decent. While the food doesn't come as quickly as other restaurants, the food is worth the wait, and it still comes as fast when the place is packed.

The one area they lose points in though is their hash-browns. They have the same, toaster rectangle hash-brown block as almost all of the other HBC restaurants.

Score: 4/5
